Its a good thing to know that a lot more of the Philippine population is now interested in stock investing. My small effort may not even have contributed to it but I am glad Pinoys are changing and learning more towards financial literacy and financial freedom.
PSE reports increase in online trading accounts

The number of online investor accounts registered on the (PSE) expanded
by 48.4% to 52,750 accounts last year, its highest number since the PSE
initiated its survey in 2007, the local bourse said in a statement.
This is faster than the 25.8% growth notched in 2010, earlier reports showed.
Online trading services have allowed investors to place online orders instead of telephone or face-to-face transactions.
“This rapid growth of online trading in the Philippines is reflective of the growing awareness about stock market investing among Filipinos,” said Hans B. Sicat, PSE president and chief executive officer.
